If someone is injured, a car is on fire, or your car is blocking a live lane, call the police on 999 or an ambulance on 998 before anything else. These are the UAE’s emergency numbers, and they work in Ajman, Sharjah and every other emirate.
Accident with damage but no injuries
You still need a police report. In the UAE, garages need it before they can repair accident damage, and insurers ask for it with your claim. Follow the police instructions at the scene, then call a recovery service to move the car once the police allow it.
