Highway breakdowns: E311 and Emirates Road (E611)
Both main highways pass through Ajman, and a breakdown there is dangerous — traffic is fast and the shoulder is narrow. If this happens to you:
- Switch on your hazard lights and move as far right as you safely can.
- Get everyone out of the car on the side away from traffic and stand behind the barrier.
- Place a warning triangle well behind the car if it is safe to do so.
- Send us your live location on WhatsApp and say which direction you were driving.
Saying the direction (towards Dubai or towards Ras Al Khaimah, for example) matters: it tells our driver which side of the road to come on and saves a U-turn.
